MISSION
To convene, coordinate, and catalyze multi-sectoral efforts that advance mental health, wellbeing, and resilience through collaboration, data, innovation, and advocacy.
VISION
A mentally healthy and resilient Uganda where every person is listened to, included, validated, and empowered to thrive.
THE FOUR PILLARS OF L.I.V.E
To Listen Is The
Beginning Of Healing.
We create safe spaces—digital and physical—where individuals can share their stories without fear of judgment. Through active listening, research, and community dialogue, we uncover the silent burdens behind the statistics and give voice to those too often ignored. Listening builds trust, and trust is the foundation of change.
Our focus areas include;
Inclusion Is The Bridge Between Empathy And Action.
We bring together every sector—government, private enterprise, civil society, faith, academia, and youth—into a single national platform. No one is left behind: from rural communities to urban workplaces, everyone has a role in shaping a mentally healthy Uganda. We believe that diverse participation creates stronger, more sustainable solutions.
Our advocacy focuses on:
Validation Restores Dignity And Belonging.
We affirm the lived experiences of individuals and communities facing mental health challenges, recognizing their courage and humanity. Through research, storytelling, and advocacy, we transform stigma into understanding and isolation into acceptance. Validation means telling every Ugandan: your pain is real, your life matters, and your story deserves to be heard.
Key initiatives include:
Empowerment Turns Awareness Into Action.
We equip individuals, institutions, and communities with the knowledge, tools, and networks to respond effectively to mental health challenges. Whether through digital innovation, training, or workplace programs, empowerment ensures that change is not only felt but sustained. We move people from silence to strength, and from vulnerability to leadership.
